First, you can expand and use the skills they have on real technology work. If they have computer skills, they could make a website, set up a blog or other social media, create videos, or any other task they enjoy already. Some kids will get a job or internship helping others with their computers, or doing computer skills for a business. You count the hours that they spend doing this stuff, and when you get to 150 you have the credit for the year!
Second, you can brainstorm other topics that your child would like to learn. Perhaps they want to learn a programming language, or learn about computer hardware or photo editing. Then you can locate a tutorial for just that particular skill. You can often find tutorials free on the internet, or at the library. If they do not know what they want to study, I often suggest getting a tutorial from the library on how to use Microsoft office. That includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and. the other one that i can never remember:-) Anyway, simply taking those tutorials and using those programs on their regular schoolwork, will enable them to become computer savvy and even use those skills in the workplace.
That is an example of integration marketing at its finest! That was the thing that took Microsoft from being this tiny, unknown company to the biggest giant in the industry. It took Bill Gates from obscurity to being the richest man in the world!
Netbooks usually only have 1 GB Ram memory installed. While that is enough for surfing the net or checking email, if you tried to run multiple programs or business applications at the same time you would see a quick decrease in speed and performance. For comparison, most standard laptops today are equipped with 3 GB or 4 GB of Ram memory.
Just think about it, your Xbox 360 is actually getting hot enough to melt metal inside. Not only will it melt broken solder joint,s but it can melt good parts that aren’t damaged and cause them to become damaged, rendering your Xbox 360 broken.
One suggestion is to check and see if your warranty is still intact and Microsoft will actually refurbish your Xbox 360 system free of charge. This is great, but like I said, they usually just replace the system with a refurbished model and there have been reports of people getting flashing red lights even after sending their consoles off the Microsoft.
Another factor that could put Microsoft in jeopardy of losing the number one spot is the release of iOS 5 this fall. Before iOS 5, an iPad user needed to have a Windows or Mac based computer to use an iPad, making it a secondary device. With the release of iOS 5, that will no longer be necessary. With the iPads compact design, ability to use 3G network in some locations and moderate price, people may be buying these over traditional desktop and laptop computers.
